Under the patronage of the National Council for Arts Chairman “Harbour Art” Concludes Successfully at Bahrain Harbour

Bahrain Harbour has wrapped up its first-ever Art Symposium “Harbour Art” with great success, hosting 15 leading artists from the region. The event, which took place from March 3 to March 7, aimed to establish Bahrain Harbour as a prominent destination for arts and culture in the region.
The closing ceremony of the Art Symposium was graced by the presence of Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the National Council for Arts, Mr. Hisham Al Rayes, Chairman of Infracorp, the developing company of Bahrain Harbour, and Mr. Majed Al Khan, CEO of Infracorp, in addition to VIPs and members of the art scene in Bahrain and the GCC region. The event showcased the diverse talents of the participating artists and highlighted the unique outcome that will be utilised in strategic tourism projects in Bahrain.
On the occasion, Mr. Majed Al Khan, CEO of Infracorp, commented: “We are delighted to have successfully hosted the ‘Harbour Art’; the first art symposium at Bahrain Harbour. This event marks a significant milestone for us as we strive to establish Bahrain Harbour as the premier art centre of the region.”
He further said: “We are proud of what we have achieved during this event. The participation of 15 leading artists and the unique outcome that they have produced will serve as a testament to Bahrain Harbour’s commitment to promoting arts and culture in the region.”
“The success of the event sets the stage for more exciting and innovative events to come, while the support of Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and the National Council for Arts underscores the importance of promoting arts in Bahrain and strengthening the cultural fabric of the region,” Mr. Tawfeeqi added.
The symposium brought together a mix of artists working across various mediums, including abstract, geometric, figurative arts, and more, providing participants with an opportunity to meet with their peers and create new and innovative works that will leave a lasting impact on the cultural landscape of Bahrain.
